Dr Khaleda Zaheer has recently graduated as a dentist from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. Khaleda has been working with Refugee Crisis Foundation since it was founded, starting with the first medical and dental relief trips to the “Jungle” in Calais, France.
As a trustee of RCF, Khaleda has supported the charity in setting its vision and shaping the organisation through collaboration with like-minded organisations. Her main role at RCF is designing and managing sustainable dental programmes in crisis situations for refugees as well as facilitating community action through effective health promotion.
With a special interest in public health, Khaleda is actively involved in research and has published articles in the British Dental Journal and the London International Development Centre.
